SEC caves on most issues with new media policy
Viva la resistance! Or something like that...
After numerous complaints from television and radio stations, newspapers and websites, the SEC released a revised media policy... with most of their proposed changes out the window.

TV stations can still post press conference and practice video on the internet... although game video will not be allowed.
The most important change to me is the elimination of their ridiculous 72 hour rule, which would have banned any video from SEC contests from airing 72 hours after the completion of that event.
Now, as has been the case for decades, tv stations can continue to air their own highlights from games for as long as they like.
As far as fans posting their own pictures on the internet? Well, you might want to consult with your lawyer before posting that pic on facebook with you on the 35 yard line at Neyland Stadium... just to be safe.
