Tennessee basketball continues to amaze
Thousands of Kentucky fans desended on Knoxville, expecting their 44th SEC championship.
They made the drive back up I-75 in a foul mood.
On Saturday the Tennessee Volunteers proved that while they might not be one of the top 5 teams in the nation, they certainly are one of the top 5 teams when it comes to entertainment value, and the ability to live up to the occasion.
Students slept inside Thompson-Boling Arena to get the best seats for UT's game against the second-ranked team in the nation. Those kids have no idea what a cold, half-empty cave that building used to be.
Those at the game said it was one of the loudest afternoons of basketball they can remember in Knoxville.
That fits just fine, because the Vols are refusing to be silent, as we get closer to the SEC tournament.
