Vols survive and advance

It wasn't a thing of beauty... but this time of year, who cares...

Certainly not the Vols...

Once again, Tennessee shows their mental toughness and guts, in beating San Diego St. 62-59 on Thursday night.

Now, the Vols prepare for red hot Ohio.  The Bobcats upset 3 seed Georgetown in the game played before UT/SDSU.

Many of Tennessee's coaches and players watched at least a little of that game.  They saw first hand how good Ohio is.  They might be a 14 seed, but they will not be overlooked by Bruce Pearl and company.

Time to get some sleep.  It is after 4am.  It's been a long day.  Two more days coming up in Providence...
