Do you want this man owning your NFL team?
Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is showing interest in obtaining a significant stake in the NFL's St. Louis Rams.
The reaction has been loud, on both sides of the aisle.
The Reverend Al Sharpton sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, arguing that Limbaugh has been divisive and “anti-NFL” in some of his comments.

On occasion I get the opportunity to do a Q&A with a mover and shaker in the world of sports. This week I caught up with Tennessee Titans play-by-play announcer Mike Keith, to get his thoughts on the Titans, and the NFL in general.
1.) Mark Nagi: The Tennessee Titans are now 0-6, after starting the 2008 season 10-0. this the ultimate example of how fragile success can be in the NFL?
Mike Keith: Yes. Everyone is so even that if you slip, you fall… period.

To start... I love the NFL. I'm actually more of a fan of the league than of a specific team (but I do root for the Cowboys, have since I was a little kid).
The National Football League is the most popular professional sports league in the United States. The Super Bowl will be watched by about a billion people worldwide.
So why is their all-star game, the Pro Bowl, so unwatchable?
I have the game on here in the 6 Sports office... and I really could care less.

I start writing this blog entry at 6:30am. My 4 month old daughter Emily has decided that she doesn't want to sleep anymore, so I sit here with my laptop computer as she grabs plastic thingys that are within reach.
I'm sure that many Vols fans had trouble sleeping as well...
Last night Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts lost Super Bowl XLIV to the New Orleans Saints 31-17. Manning played well in defeat, but not to the high level we have grown to expect.
Would you want your NFL franchise led by this man?
The Pittsburgh Steelers and the National Football League are well aware of the public relations nightmare which has been brought forth by Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
In the past year, he's gone from two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, to a man accused of sexual assault two-times.
Recognize this guy? He's now the future of the Kansas City Chiefs franchise.
Eric Berry lived up to all the hype he brought with him to Knoxville. Son of a former Vol, one of the best high school players in the state of Georgia...
In three years at Tennessee, he played with maturity, and was a class act on and off the field.
